showers, luncheons, weddings, etc.

If you didn't infer from the title, this is going to be a very girly and long post. In the past few weeks, I co-hosted a baby shower for my sister, Erin, and attended my cousin, Nina's wedding and more in Nashville, TN. I've been meaning to post pictures of these events, but I also have a job "on the side", so I'm just now getting around to it! Right now I am getting in some good "nothing" time by watching a little HGTV, doing some laundry, and updating this blog :)

We had Erin & Ellie's Shower @ Cousin Chelsea's loft apartment in Mockingbird Station. It was such a great place to have it! Erin's good friends Kasey & Kyla hosted with Chels & me. We had a tea party theme and used all mis-matched teacups and teapots. I think it turned out pretty darn cute! The date just happened to be on Mother's Day, so I made this sign that says "Happy Mom's Day" (mostly because I got bored and didn't want to have to spell Mother's, but I also think it's cute to say Mom's Day.)
Kyla made the most beautiful cake ever! And it tasted great too! She should totally sell them.

Kaylane brought her sweet little baby girl, Eden! She is soooo cute and such a sweet and smiley baby :)

My aunt Phyllis hosted Cousin Nina's bridal luncheon at her AMAZING little cottage-y house in Nashville. I loved that all of the girls were invited, we are all so close and it felt really good to just sit around, eat, and hang out with all my awesome, beautiful, & funny female family members.

Baby Emmerette - it should be illegal for a baby to be that cute.

Cassidy, Jared's daughter, got a 'bride barbie' gift for being in the wedding. It was so cute, she kept telling everyone that it looked just like Nina :)

Nina & Jared's rehearsal dinner - the Attigs were so nice to invite the ENTIRE Mayfield clan!!

Cherry & little William - he is such a little flirt!

And finally...Nina & Jared's Wedding! I unfortunately didn't get any pictures at the church, but it was this beautiful old church in Franklin, TN and the wedding was so sweet and lovely. They had a quintet play the song from the movie "Little Women" which we all grew up watching, and I admit that I got a little bit emotional. The rehearsal was at Legends Country Club, and it was so fun and beautiful! I love that our family will get out on the dance floor and have fun even though we know we can't dance :)

The most fun I had was watching the kids dance around. William kept trying to dance with the girls, and then he got a little upset when they left him out...hehe. Funny kid.

That's all I got, folks.

kelly's wedding!

This past weekend I had the great honor and privilege of being a bridesmaid in my friend Kelly's wedding! I loved getting to be a part of her big day :)
