i like.

I like to think of myself as a person of well-rounded interests. I'm actually a person of rather random and spastic interests though. But I just like what I like, and I just like a whole lot of things, like it or not....haha. I've compiled a short list of my most recent interests, obsessions and likes for your enjoyment.

My own personal "PF Flyer's" that make me run fast like Bennie from The Sandlot. Actually they are New Balance 1224's. I had to get some good running shoes b/c I'm going to run a 10K in April @ the Ft. Worth Zoo. They are pink and a very bright clean white and I like them.

The musical stylings of Bishop Allen, Andrew Bird and M. Ward. I like this kind of music right now because it's fun and light-hearted. It makes me get in the springy mood.

Crochet. I've recently learned how to do it. I'm really good at it. No, I lied, but I like doing it.

Clementines. Because they are cute, perfectly peelable and oh so good. I like to eat them.

Randy Travis. I went to see him live @ Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth this past weekend. I had forgotten all about Randy Travis, then when I heard all his old songs, I remembered how much I used to like him. Actually, I forgot that I like country music in general. It brought me back to my elementary days when I used to have a Walkman and play half-recorded songs from recordable tapes.

The "Eyes to See" Books. I got these books over Christmas break and am just now getting around to reading them. They're a collection of short stories that all have a significant spiritual message all written by renowned writers. I like that I can just read one story and finish it in one night before I go to bed. Some of them are kinda weird and make me have strange dreams though.

The latest sermons my pastor has been preaching on Repentance. It's been a really good yet challenging series and I've learned a lot. I would recommend it to anyone no matter what your current spiritual status. You can podcast it if you click on the link & find the series called Repentance. I like that it makes you think about things you wouldn't normally think about on your own. I like it.

Thanks Mama & Grandma for coming to stay with me this weekend! They were driving home from Nashville and stopped here for a night. We had a fun little "slumber party" in my living room, and I enjoyed getting to spend time with them. And thank you, Mama, for not letting me call in sick to work today even though I really didn't want to go, I'm glad I did because I was the only one on my team who showed up.

I LOVE Clementine oranges. I went through a phase where I ate entire bags in one day. That has phased out though and now I am onto plums. We buy fruit at Sam's by the card load and I am literally making myself sick off of fruit.

Randy Travis? Really?
